Compassionate Therapy for Children, Teens, and Families
In-Person in the Treasure Valley and Available Online

Your child is struggling.
You’re unsure what happened to the happy, confident kid they used to be.
Every day, they seem to grow more distant, irritable, and withdrawn.
And it feels like you’re losing touch with them altogether.
Emotions are out of control.
You never know how your child will react – one moment, they’re fine; the next, they’re melting down.
Tantrums, defiance, outbursts, aggression. Fights with siblings and classmates, overwhelming anxiety.
You see the worry in their eyes, and you just want to help them feel safe, confident, and understood.
It feels so isolating.
You’re doing your best, but still feel like you’re falling short.
It’s taking a toll, not just on your confidence, but on every aspect of your life.
You’re trying to hold it together while silently wondering if this is just a phase… or something more.
Nothing seems to help.
You’ve read parenting books, listened to podcasts, and watched therapy videos to no avail.
You ask people for advice, but it feels like no one truly sees what your family is going through.
And as much as you try to keep your cool and stay positive, the truth is that you’re exhausted.

The cost of doing nothing is too great.
Without support, emotional and behavioral challenges often grow into deeper struggles.
Relationships fray, school performance dips, and confidence fades.
And the cycle of stress, guilt, and disconnection will only continue.
Therapy can be a turning point.
The good news is that change is possible and doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
Whether you’re seeking help for your child, teen, family, or yourself, I am here for you.
Let me support your journey toward healing and growth.
Hi, I’m Bridget.
I created Stonehill Cottage as a warm, welcoming space for kids and families to feel safe, supported, and empowered.
I’ve spent years helping kids and teens navigate anxiety, trauma, big emotions, and tough transitions. And as a mom, school counselor, and therapist, I bring clinical and real-life experience to my work.
Therapy provides a space for your child to feel seen, heard, and supported as they build emotional skills, practice coping tools, and begin to heal their trust.
Here, families can learn to reconnect, communicate more clearly, and strengthen the bond that holds them together.
This work is relational, interactive, and grounded in trust. My goal is to help you and your child feel more confident, calm, and connected at home, at school, and in everyday life.
I believe in connection before correction, and I hold space for every family with empathy, grace, and practical strategies that lead to real change.
If you’re ready to move forward, I’d be honored to walk with you.
